Owl ways and Forever Anniversary Card

Anniversary Card for Mum and Dad this time. Again I used my new Stampin Up Owl Punch.

The basic owl shapes were punched out of brown card stock, the eyes were punched in white, green, orange and brown card stock. A further two eyes were cut in brown card and cut in half to create the eye lids. The noses were the heart shape on the punch , these were cut out of cream card.

Two small scalloped circles was cut from brown card and cut in half to create the owl wings. The owl breast sections were punched in patterned card and a lighter brown card. The patterned paper on the male owl was cut in half and shaped to create a waistcoat effect. All the punched pieces were glued together.

The cut owls were positioned on a branch cut from dark brown card, using Lea'bilities die , this was attached to a white oval mounted on a orange scalloped oval .

A small section of pattered paper was fixed to a white piece of card which was mounted onto green card stock, this was attached to the square base card. Two decorative corners were cut using Die-namics Photo Corners to add detail. A small strip of pearl beaded thread was fixed across the join .

The oval topper and owls were fixed to the base card using 1mm 3d foam pads.

A personalised message was printed and punched out using the Stampin Up oval punch , an orange mount was cut using the matching scalloped punch.

Numerous hearts were punched out from the owl punch and fixed randomly on the top part of the card.
