A card for Matt

A birthday card for my sons friend who is a keen Watford Supporter.

The main football figure was cut using Cricut Everyday Dolls Cartridge. the clothing /kit based on the Watford Football keeper.  The shirt and shorts were cut out on both green and black , the black sections cut to create the kit detail. The football boots again were cut out of both white and black card and the white pair cut to create the striped detail. The green socks were a pair of wellington boots.

The glovers were cut in both purple and yellow, the yellow section cut down again to create the cuff detail.

The football pitch was created using the Cricut Gypsy device and Soccer Cartridge. Whilst the green pitch was just taken from the Soccer Cartridge the white border detail was created manually using the Gypsy device , this was created on different pages on the Gypsy so the sizing fitted perfectly, the white border were rectangles re sized and welded together to create the pitch border. The centre circle was clearly just two cut circles.

The light green background card was embossed using the in stitches embossing folder, used the wrong way, I was trying to create the effect of the goal nets. This embossed card was matted onto black card.

The corner footballs were cut using the Quickutz die Soccer ball and shaped for the corners.

A personalised message was printed and matted on to black cardstock, and attached to lower section  of the card using 1mm 3d foam pads.

Lets hope Matt has a fantastic birthday.
