Farewell to a Lovely Teacher

Well a shock announcement at the school this month , our youngest sons teacher would be leaving at Easter - just 2 weeks away.

A group of us wanted to do a small collection and send a card - a good excuse for a bit more crafting.

The small boys were cut using the Cricut 'Paper doll dress up'  cartridge - all cut at 3 inches tall. I matched the hair styles and colours to each child concerned and also their jumpers/fleeces etc. The faces were created using Peachy Keen Stamps - as these have a stamp with a face with glasses - ideal for this card. I added glossy accents to the glasses to make them look more effective.

The 'goodbye' banner was created using the Cricut Gypsy device. The wording was cut from Light Grey card stock using 'Mickey Font' Cricut Cartridge with a red card shadow background that was welded together prior to cutting.

The grass was cut from green card using the Sizzix Decorative strip.

I also decorated the reverse of the card, with a message from the mums, I used Stampin Up Petite Pennants Builder Punch - really pleased with the result... I fear lots of cards coming up with bunting on.
