A friends sons birthday this week , this time a teenage card.
I recently purchased a new Cricut Cartridge called 'Paper Dolls Teen Scene'. Ideal for the older children style cards.
I cut the image 4 times, in white, black, skin tone and brown card stock. The hair overlay was also cut in brown. The body size was 4.5". I cut trousers in black card and grey card , trainers in white and black card and a red top and pocket, a mobile was cut from black cardstock for detail.
The 4 body parts were all layered up, brown at the base, followed by white, then black and skin tone on the top. The brown overlay hair was the last to apply. The trainer parts were glued together and laces drawn in using a black fine liner pen. The black trouser were layered onto the grey card, all parts were glued to the main body.
I created an embossed white backing section using Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder.
This and the pattern backing papers were all inked round the edges with grey ink and matted onto black card. Faux brads from Craftwork card were added to each corner.
