Luigi Style Card

Now a card for my little Boy - who is celebrating his 8th birthday.

My son is mad about the 'Cars' films and obviously all the cars in the film, so I decided on a Luigi style card.

The Cricut 'Cars' Cartridge was used along with the Cricut Gypsy device.

The Black wheel/tyre was modified on the Cricut Gypsy device initially by hiding the Lightening name round the edge of the wheel. This was replaced with the wording Happy Birthday Mark. The main wheel/type part was cut using black card, I then re cut the letters in white card and the nuts and details from the middle of the wheel were cut out in silver mirri card. The white letters and silver card were then fixed like a jigsaw into the main black wheel.

I then cut Luigi straight from the cartridge using, white, yellow, burgundy and silver card , the parts were all fixed to the main black Luigi image, the car was cut at 3.75 inches.

The car was fixed using 3d black foam pads. The tyre was fixed to light grey backing card.

Lets hope he likes his card and has a great Birthday on Cup Final Day.
