Time for a coffee addicts birthday

Time to make a special card for a special friend.

Coffee was the easy theme for this card as Susan is a coffee addict.

Using an image from House Mouse CD, I printed the decoupage image sheet. The sections were cut out and layered up using 1mm 3d foam pads. The backing paper was taken from House CD Project Book.

The main image was matted onto two brown pieces of card (light and dark brown) , the backing paper was also matted onto the same card matts. The backing section was fixed using double sided tape to an a5 sized card.

Two sets of corners were cut using Die namic Photo corners dies, these were layered up and fixed to each corner using double sided tape.

The main image was fixed using 1mm 3d foam pads.

A personalised message was printed and matted onto brown card and fixed to the lower part of the card.

To decorate, real coffee beans were used. These were first glazed using Glossy Accents. When dry they were fixed to the card using silicon  glue. Once the glue and gloss had fully dried the true coffee smell came through again.

To finish and a matching coffee style insert was printed from House Mouse Inserts CD Rom.

Lets hope Susan has a lovely day, I'm sure there will be coffee flowing at some point through the day, lets hope she doesn't use the beans from the card though.

Using House Mouse Triple CD, I printed both the background paper and the main image onto smooth white card.

The sections of the main image were cut and layered up using 1mm 3d foam pads. This was matted into black card and fixed to green card using 1mm 3d foam pads, this was matted onto black card to complete.

The backing paper was matted also onto green and black card. This was fixed to an A5 card opening landscape.

The main image was fixed slightly slanted using double sided tape to the backing paper.

The tag was cut out and matted to match the background, this was attached to the card using a peg embellishments.

Four green pearl brads were fixed to each corner to finish.
Lets hope Nish has a lovely birthday.

LOV Engagement Card

Time to make an engagement card for a special couple of friends who've just announced their engagement.

Using Lili Of The Valley stamp - Anniversary surprise, I stamped the image onto white card stock using Momento black ink. The image was coloured in using Promarker pens. The backing papers were taken from paper pads from  Lili of the Valley pads Country Gent and Country Lady, a strip of red grosgrain ribbon was fixed across the join, a diamante ribbon buckle was threaded at one end. The main coloured image was cut using a Spellbinder die, this was cut again out of red card, the larger sized die was cut from both red and green card stock. The red sections were cut down the centre and fixed to create a shadow effect. the top colored section was fixed to the green section using 1mm 3d foam pads to give a layered effect.

Corner shapes were cut using Dienamics photo corner dies.

The backing section was matted on to both green and red card stock and the corner sections fixed using double sided tape.

Finally a personalised message was printed and matted onto green and red card and fixed using 1mm 3d foam pads to finish.

Congratulation to Paul and Angela on their engagement, lets hope they liked the personalised card.
