A request this time for a Mario and Luigi card for a special boys birthday.
Using Cricut Paperdolls and Everyday cartridges, the Cricut Create, Cricut Expressions and the Gypsy.
Mario was cut as a normal body shape on the cartridge , Luigi being a thinner character was modified on the Gypsy device along with his clothes - the width was reduced. The hats were on the cartridge but again using the Gypsy a circle was added and an initial for each character. Additional circles were cut from the flesh card as they have button like noses.
The finishing line banner was created using the Cricut Gypsy and cut from both white and black cardstock , the black letters and details were then fixed into the white section, when completed it was mounted onto black card. The road was cut from grey card by hand and two strips cut of black and white card to create the edging of the track.
The Car was created using Decals cartridge that was preloaded on the Expression machine, I cut the car shape in black and red card and modified the red section by hand to fix over the black. A black circle was added to represent the steering wheel and using the Gypsy devise the 4 disc was created. The blue bumper section was create by hand.
Two further head sections were created to add detail to the back of the card.

Fifty Shades of Grey - Baby Poppy has arrived
Odd request this one, an expectant Auntie wanted to send a special baby card to her sister in law whos baby was due in March/April.
Poppy finally arrived this week.
The card was created using a glittered backing baby card which was matted onto pink card. The book section took a while to work out re sizing and to create the pages effect, A small extract was taken from the beginning on the book, I felt I could include that part on the front of the card without causing any embarrassment. Additional pages were layered up using 1mm 3d foam pads to create a book effect this was also matted onto pink card, this was fixed to the backing section.
Using Lili of the valley stamp - special delivery the image was stamped onto white card stock and coloured in lightly using promarkers pens. Personalised details were printed and fixed to the base of the tag shape. Pink ribbon and an eyelet were added to finish - the tag was attached using 1mm 3d foam pads.
