Mr Potato Head has hurt his foot

A request this week for a card with Mr Potato Head on with a broken foot and crutches.

I cut Mr Potato Head out using my Cricut Machine and Toy Story Cartridge. I cut one shoe in blue and the other in white. The white shoe I covered with white grosgrain ribbon to create a bandage effect. The Crutches were cut from light grey card stock using the Every Day Paper doll Cartridge. Four plasters were cut from the same cartridge to add detail to the four corners of the card.

Light grey card stock was matted onto blue card and fixed to the base card. A message was printed and matted onto blue card and fixed to the bottom of the card using 1mm 3d foam.

Card for a Grandad

Last week I had a request for a card from a lady I didn't know whom I met at the Nursery Fete on 22nd September.

She wanted a card that her children could give to their Grandad for his 65th Birthday in October, she told me her Dad liked gardening and cycling. I gave her three suggestions that I felt were perhaps suitable and a design was agreed.

I selected an image from the pack 'Basil & Buttercup' Decoupage Pad.

Selected a Basil image and layered the 5 layers of the image using 1mm 3d foam. The main image was matted on to brown card stock. The image was matted on to patterned cardstock from the set and matted onto green cardstock. This was finally matted onto Kanban cardstock and mounted to main card. Each layer was twisted to add detail.

A personalised greeting was printed and matted onto green cardstock to finish.
