Wedding Day Wishes
My youngest sons Teacher is getting married over the summer break so time to create a special wedding card.
Using my Cricut Gypsy device I found some heart shapes. I created an additional layer on my Gypsy file and created the dress and suit items using the Cricut Paperdoll Cartridge but sized them accordingly to the hearts.
All pieces were cut out and fixed to the two base hearts. small pearl gems were added to the neck of the dress for detail.
A square section of white card was embossed and matted onto blue card stock. Blue ribbon was fixed across and a diamonte buckle fixed at the lower section of the card. The backing section was then fixed to the base card. The heart images were fixed to a white section of card which was matted onto a decorative rectangle cut using Spellbinders decorative rectangles dies. Four scalloped corner sections were cut to add detail to the corners.
A message was printed and matted to match the main image and fixed to the base of the card using 1mm 3d foam pads.
Lets hope Cara and Tom have a fantastic Wedding Day and enjoy their summer break before they both return to their respective schools in September.
