21st Birthday card for Dan

A card request for a 21st Birthday for a Tottenham supporter.

 

Using the Cricut Soccer Cartridge and the Cricut Gypsy device , I used the soccer shorts and football shirt. I added in the number 21 from the Mickey Font Cartridge and added the name Dan to the shirt, these were cut in both blue and white card stock.  The white shirt and shorts were cut to down for the detail of the shorts waistband and the shirt collar and sleeve cuffs. The white numbers and letters were inserted into the matching holes in the blue section.

 

The Happy Birthday was again cut using the Mickey Font Cartridge, the blue background cut using shadow option and white in normal font size.

 

The football pitch was created using the Cricut Gypsy device. Whilst the green pitch was just taken from the Soccer Cartridge the white border detail was created manually using the Gypsy device , this was created on different pages on the Gypsy so the sizing fitted perfectly, the white border were rectangles re sized and welded together to create the pitch border. The centre circle was clearly just two cut circles.

 

The light green background card was embossed using the in stitches embossing folder, used the wrong way, I was trying to create the effect of the goal nets. This embossed card was matted onto blue card.

 

All cut pieces were attached to the embossed card, the shirt and the shorts were attached with 1mm 3d foam pads .

 

Lets hope Dan had a great 21st Birthday.
