Farewell to a work Colleague

A card required this time for Karson, who leaves the Company I work for, after many years service.

I decided to create a figure card to look like Karson. Using the Cricut machine and cartridge Every Day Dolls, I created the figure and outfit from various characters. The workman's vest was a vest cut in half, cut in both yellow and grey card. The grey card was cut down by hand to reflect the fluorescent section of the vest

The small hammers were created form the DIY cartridge and cut out on yellow, grey and black card, they were cut and fixed together to create the detail. A face was stamped using Sizzix Dress Up Faces stamps,  onto the figure and again onto white paper to create the white eyes, the eyes were cut out and glued to the main face stamped image.

The words were cut out in yellow for the main letters and with a blue card shadow, using Mickey Font Cartridge.

The cut pieces were fixed to white card stock, matted onto yellow and blue card and fixed to the base card.

I wish Karson well for the future and will miss his visits to the office, he always had a smile on his face.
