A Card for Sam
Our Neighbours daughters birthday this week, so needed to make a card and decided to use one of the stamps purchased at the Stamperama Craft show last Sunday at Stevenage.
Using Stamping Bella 'uptown girl Posh has a present' stamp, I stamped onto white card stock using black Momento ink. I stamped the dress part again onto a patterned card stock, taken from 'Paris Girl Carta Bella' paper pad. I cut the dress section out from the patterned paper and left to one side.
I coloured the stamped image in using Promarker pens, omitting the dress section. The cut out dress section I fixed onto the coloured stamped image using double sided tape.
The coloured image was matted onto black card stock.
The background was created using a 6" x6" paper from the 'Paris Girl' pad and matted onto black card, corner sections were cut from black card using using 'Die namics Photo corners' dies
Small sections of backing paper were fixed across the backing card and a zigzag stamped over the edges to look like faux stitching.
The main image was fixed slightly slanted on the backing section using 1mm 3d foam pads.
A message was stamped onto white card stock and edged using Versa Magic Chalk ink 'Pink Petunia', this was also matted onto black card and fixed using 1mm foam pads.
