A Card for George

This time a card for George who is 12 this month.

Using the Everyday Cricut Cartridge I used the images from the Basket Ball section, I cut a base body and an additional head and appropriate hair style and colour to match the recipient of the card. .

The face was stamped on to the head part only using Sizzix faces stamps, this was stamped again onto white copier paper. The eye sections were cut out and glued to the head section, the head was fixed to the body using 3d foam to give a slight layered effect.

The bag and water bottle were cut out in two different coloured cardstock and cut and glued together.
The shirt was cut in black and yellow card stock and the yellow section used to create a striped effect to match the Schools Sportswear. Plain black shorts and shoes were cut from black card and the shorts were edged in yellow card.

The number 12 was cut in black card stock and cut from a yellow circle using the Cricut Gypsy. The black numbers was fixed into the negative circle.

The racing track was create using the Cricut Gypsy, a circle shape was selected initially and the height and width changed independently to create an oval, this was copied and re sized 5 times to create a lane effect. the middle oval was cut from green cardstock representing the middle of the track and field area.

A personalised message was printed and matted onto green card stock. The racing track was fixed to a light blue card, which was then fixed to the base card.

The man and his accessories were fixed using double sided tape and1mm 3d foam pads.
